On the road again

I’m on the road again! I really need to experiment with different places to stop though. I always stop in the same places and while they are great when heading south, they are not really the right places to stop when going north again. Oh well, maybe next time. I’m already stopped now! Might have to have an extra stop though this time, my car is driving like a tank with all the extra weight of some stuff that I picked up in it. If I didn’t know any better I’d think I was driving the Ford Orion diesel I had a number of years ago - it feels that heavy! Actually, the stuff I’m loaded up with probably weighs nearly as much as my car!

Had a good couple of days and had quite a few laughs as well as getting other stuff done. I’ll be glad to get home though! It’s always nice to have new toys and take time to set them all up nice, although I also love sleeping in my own bed too!

I got a call this afternoon saying that my tickets have arrived for my holiday, so can go and pick them up tomorrow. I’m getting so excited about it! I can’t believe it’s nearly here!

Chinese food

Been out with the guys for a meal tonight. We went to a Chinese place somewhere (not sure exactly where it was) and even though I’m not a huge lover of Chinese food it was really yummy! So full now though. Think I ate too much
It was such a laugh though. Talk about everyone saying the completely wrong things wasn’t in it! The things that we came out with had us in hysterics from time to time!

What an eventful journey

Just drove 200 miles and have seen 2 accidents, fog, rain, sun, a breakdown, and a random person taking a walk on the hard shoulder. It could have been worse though, I only hit delays due to the breakdown. The accidents had been cleared to the side of the road by the time I got to them. Made very good time despite having to keep slowing down for waves of fog and the huge holdup because of the breakdown.

Can’t sleep

There is nothing worse than not being able to sleep…. Apart from not being able to sleep and needing to be up in just over three hours! Tomorrow is gonna be a long day too, so not impressed that sleep is avoiding me. Oh well, if all else fails I’ll just have to have an afternoon nap tomorrow.

Great news!

I’m a happy bunny! I’m at the dentist and the tooth is coming out. He’s managed to squeeze me enough time to get it done. It’s gonna be sore later, but that will just be brusing, not toothache. Just waiting to go back in to have it done. It’s gonna make life a lot easier though once it’s done and healed.

Going to the dentist

Yay! I’ve managed to get an appointment to see my dentist today. Maybe I can finally get rid of this damn toothache! It is so frustrating!

Mind you though, it’s only an emergency appointment so he’s probably not going to be able to do anything about it yet. I know there isn’t a lot that can be done as the tooth needs to come out, but I can live in hope that he might be able to do it.

I’m just so fed up with constantly having toothache now. If I really thought that I could get it out myself then it would have come out already.

Oh well, will just have to see what happens later when I see him.

Stupid postman

My postman is stupid! How difficult is it to put the mail in the right door? I’m fed up with regularly getting my neighbours post. It’s not rocket science! My flat is just a number and the flat above me is a number and a letter. It is so extemely annoying!

Toothache

I’m not a happy bunny at the moment I’ve got major toothache coming from one of my teeth which is seriously knackered.

I’ve been having problems with it since before Christmas, and it keeps calming down for a while then flaring up again. I’m actually waiting to have the thing taken out because my dentist gave me three options for what to do with it.

1. Leave it as it is and put up with it
2. Pay an extortionate amount of money to have more tests done on it to see if they can find the actual cause of the issue and maybe fix it
3. Take it out 

I can’t put up with it, I don’t want to pay stupid money for a load of tests and probably end up having to have it out anyway, so it has to come out.

It is driving me crazy though as it has decided this week to flare up again and cause me nothing but grief. I wish the date for having it out would hurry up and get here!

I’m going to have to ring the dentist in the morning to see if there is any chance of bringing the appointment forward, although if they can then I’m going to need to be careful with when they bring it forward to as I have a busy week this week so am limited on time to get to the dentist, am around next week, but then the week after that I am on holiday. My current appointment is for the week after my holiday.

It really sucks though, because not only do I get bad toothache in the tooth concerned, but I get pain all along my upper and lower jaws as the pain reflects. I’m getting quite the expert in knowing when toothache is actual pain in an area or if it is reflected pain there and the problem is elsewhere - although its not difficult when you already know which tooth is the problem!

Photos from my Grandma’s 80th Party

Well, the party last night for my Grandma’s 80th was great fun. 23 of us went out to the Red Lion in Bolton, had a meal and quite a bit to drink then most of us went back to my parents where the party continued well into the morning.

My brother, his fiancée, and one of my cousins went out into town after coming to my parents for a bit, but the whole night was a complete success.

I promised photo’s, and as I forgot to charge the batteries for my camera I didn’t take any. It doesn’t matter though, because my Dad had his and it was getting passed around a lot, so I’ve got a copy of the photos from it which I’m including

Been to a party

I’ve just got back home not so long ago from my grandma’s 80th birthday party. I’m rather drunk. That god for auto spell check correcting!

Had a great time and was fine till I had bacadri breezers which always mess me up!

Can barely see the keypad ok my iPhone to post ! Will post more tomorrow when I’ve sobered up and got the pics off the camera
