Well that was a surprize! I expected to be kept in, not sent home. Got to go back on Friday and see what happens then, but in the meantime I’m tucked up in bed and waiting to see what happens - either I’ll be a bit better on Friday or I won’t. Those are the only two options really.
Oh well, just gotta hope that I start feeling better soon!

Well here we are again at the ER and doing the whole waiting thing. It is so incredibly boring but it has to be done. I hate being ill. It really sucks.
I’m seriously hoping that it isn’t going to be too long waiting for the doctor as it is going to be an extremely long and boring day otherwise! Fingers crossed on that count.
I’ve accepts the fact that there is a 60-70% chance that I will be admitted which sucks even more, but I know that I really am that ill so I’ll be more surprised if they send me home than if they keep me in. Either way it’s more than likely going to be a very long day which wouldn’t be quite as bad if I had got any sleep at all last night.

Well it took 3.5 hours in the ER but eventually I found out that I have torn the cartilidge in my knee. It explains why it is so damn sore! So now I’m stuck on crutches, under strict instructions to not put any weight on that leg, with an appointment to go back to the hospital next Friday morning to get it checked further.
I’m not impressed with the using crutches concept. I’m too old to be trying to learn how to to this! I’ve nearly gone flying a few times already. I’ve never had to use them before and even more strangely never known anyone that has had to use them so never tried someone elses out when I was a kid.
I guess the only plus is that I live in a ground floor flat, so no stairs to worry about. I’m not allowed to drive though even though it’s my left knee and I drive an automatic so I don’t use my left keg for driving at all. That’s a serious downer because I do like being able to just go out and having to rely on lifts is not my thing.
Gonna have to go out tomorrow though whether I gave got the hang of these darn crutches or not. Well a girl has to eat and to do that there needs to be food in the house!
Overall though, I’ll do whatever it takes to get my knee right or at least to stop it from hurting like hell like it is at the moment! I’m just gonna need a lot of practice to get the hang of the crutches. Knowing my luck, I’ll just get the hang of them when they are taken off me again!

Well I’m stuck in the ER waiting to see a doctor about my knee that I’ve done in this week. I’ve already been here for about 90 mins and I am very bored. Why does it take so long to get to see someone? Is it just that us English are too patient and so don’t complain about waiting in line for our turn?
